At a meeting of the African Christian Fellowship leaders from various chapters across the United States on Saturday November 1, the National Board of the Fellowship announced the establishment of a $300,000 Ebola Recovery Fund drive to assist victims in the three countries of West Africa ravaged by the ongoing epidemic.
When the Tornado of May 19th 2013 hit Oklahoma, Dr. Clifford Obih, Chairman of the Rapid Response Team quickly mobilized his committee members to do a quick assessment of how The African Christian Fellowship members can help with the recovery effort.
We go on mission trips to find ourselves -- that truest part of "us" that we wouldn't otherwise know or be able to tap into. We go, because we are the less-fortunate.
